Suzuki expands 2018 motorcycle, ATV lineup

Suzuki Motor of America released additional motorcycles and ATVs as part of its 2018 lineup. The new offerings include: 2018 street (GSX-S1000Z, GSX-s1000 ABS, GSX-S1000F, TU250X and VanVan); motocross (RM-Z250 and RM85); off-road (RMX450Z, DR-Z125L and DR-Z70); dual-sport (DR650S, DR200S, DR-Z400S and DR-Z400SM); SuperMoto DR-Z400SM motorcycle; youth ATVs (QuadSport Z50 and Z90) and 2018 KingQuad ATVs. 

2018 GSX-S1000Z

Take a GSX-S1000 ABS and punch up the horsepower from its GSX-R based engine, add in a new back-torque limiting clutch that smooths shifting and improve the braking performance to upgrade an excellent sport-standard motorcycle. The Z-model’s blacked-out bodywork and chassis components amplify the aggressive styling that cloaks an ergonomically comfortable, yet sporty riding position.  MSRP $10,999, available in Matte Black, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 GSX-S1000 ABS 

The Suzuki GSX-S1000 ABS delivers more thrust for 2018 thanks to new crankcase ventilation holes so the engine delivers more horsepower and torque. Refined fuel injection mapping and the rider-adjustable Suzuki Advanced Traction Control System2 pushes power through a New Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) clutch and a smooth-shifting, six-speed transmission. Riders will be drawn to the aggressively styled, naked bodywork and low 32-inch seat height that contributes to the sporty, yet relaxed riding position. MSRP $10,799, available in blue/black, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki GSX-S1000F

The GSX-S1000F brings robust Suzuki performance to the street with a sharp-handling chassis that also supplies a comfortable riding position. Like the GSX-S1000Z, the 2018 GSX-S1000F is powered by an updated 999cc inline four-cylinder with increased power and torque. A new, smoked windshield complements the bodywork. MSRP $11,299, available in white or blue/black, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki TU250X

The 2018 Suzuki TU250X delivers tradition and value in one stylish bike. With classic single-cylinder, air-cooled styling the 249cc SOHC engine runs flawlessly with an EFI system that is tuned for strong low-end torque that’s well-suited for city riding. New black paint with contrasting tri-color stripes complements the bike’s classic looks. All together the TU250X is designed to remind riders that motorcycling is all about fun, featuring a light, agile chassis. MSRP $4,599, available in black, in dealers in August 2017.

2018 Suzuki VanVan

Back with new red or black body work, the 2018 Suzuki VanVan includes a stress-free push-button start and EFI keeping everything in order with the 199cc four-stroke engine. The Suzuki VanVan 200 is a proper motorcycle in every sense, and one that’s loaded with individuality and flair. MSRP $4,599, available in red or black, in dealer in August 2017.

2018 Suzuki RM-Z250

The 2018 Suzuki RM-Z250 is a top choice for racers who want to create a championship-caliber bike. The engine and chassis work great stock and accept competition prep well thanks to a variety of features originally developed for Suzuki’s factory race bikes. The competition-proven Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) gives riders the best shot at launching out of the starting gate first on a wide variety of track conditions, and the specialized KYB PSF2 Pneumatic Spring fork provides both easy adjustability and outstanding action to give the RM-Z250 precise handling. 2018 Suzuki RM85

2018 Suzuki RMX450Z

The 2018 Suzuki RMX450Z is powered by a fuel-injected engine derived from the RM-Z450. Every RMX450Z is EPA Emissions and California Green-sticker compliant. The RMX450Z’s trail-ready features include an electric starter (plus kick-start back-up) powered by a compact battery, a full charging system, a multi-function enduro computer, plus a bright headlight and LED tail light. True to its RM-Z heritage, the RMX’s lightweight and rigid aluminum twin-spar frame, fully adjustable Showa suspension, and 21” and 18” diameter EXCEL wheels deliver responsive and stable handling. MSRP $8,999, available in Championship Yellow, in dealers in September 2017.

2018 Suzuki DR-Z125L

Styled like its championship-winning RM-Z and RMX models, the DR-Z125L is a real motorcycle powered by an ultra-reliable 124cc four-stroke single that delivers smooth power through a manual clutch and five-speed transmission. The DR-Z125L’s single-shock chassis with larger 19-inch front and 16-inch rear tires, as well as a front disc brake, deliver big bike performance to a size appropriate motorcycle.  MSRP $3,249, available in Championship Yellow, in dealers in August 2017.

2018 Suzuki DR-Z70

With an automatic clutch, 3-speed transmission and electric starting, the 2018 Suzuki DR-Z70 will help build confidence and riding ability for young supervised riders. The 67cc engine delivers a smooth, controllable power and adult supervisors can adjust its peak performance so young riders can learn at a proper pace. MSRP $1,849, available in Championship Yellow, in dealers in August 2017.

2018 Suzuki DR650S 

Every DR650S is quality-built by Suzuki and features a reliable 644cc oil-cooled four-stroke single carried in a strong, steel frame. The cartridge-style fork and link-style rear suspension can tackle tough trails or urban roads. Strong aluminum, spoke-style rims carrying tires that can handle the street or dirt are fitted so riders can tackle pavement or soil with ease. With new solid white bodywork and distinctive graphics, the DR650S looks good on any surface. MSRP $6,549, available in white, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki DR200S

The 2018 Suzuki DR200S gets 88MPG3 with its reliable 199cc engine complete with push-button electric-starting, telescopic front forks, a 3.3 gallon tank and abundant torque. With sharp, competition-like styling, a choice of Champion Yellow or solid special white bodywork, and a reasonable 33.3 inch seat height, this bike delivers the agile maneuverability and fun Suzuki is known for. 2018 Suzuki DR-Z400S

 

The 2018 Suzuki DR-Z400S includes a 398cc, DOHC four-valve, liquid-cooled single as well as the crisp handling from the narrow chassis. This ultra-reliable bike lights off easily with electric start and features an easy-to-read digital dash. MSRP $6,699, available in White, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 SuperMoto DR-Z400SM

The 2018 SuperMoto DR-Z400SM combines Supermotard style and features in a narrow, lightweight street-legal package. Some key differences between the DR-Z400SM and the DR-Z400S are the inverted front fork, wide, spoke-style wheels, and 300mm diameter floating front brake rotor. The inverted fork contributes to less unsprung weight and improved overall handling, while the large brake and wider rims with high-grip tires offer an exhilarating sportbike experience. New black bodywork with fresh yellow and gray graphics plus gold anodized EXCEL wheel rims complement the motorcycle’s styling. MSRP $7,299, available in Black, in dealers in August 2017.

2018 Suzuki QuadSport Z50

The 2018 Suzuki QuadSport Z50 is designed for adult-supervised riders age 6 and older and includes many features that make learning to ride a safe and fun experience. The QuadSport Z50 features a throttle limiter to control engine output, a tether switch to remotely shut off the ignition, and a keyed main switch that prevents unauthorized use. Adjustable hand controls, an automatic transmission, full floorboards, and a low seat height make sure that beginning riders will enjoy active convenience and control. MSRP $2,049, available in Championship Yellow, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki QuadSport Z90

The 2018 Suzuki QuadSport Z90 is for adult-supervised riders age 12 and older. New riders will appreciate convenient features like an automatic transmission and electric starter. An easy-to-set throttle limiter lets adults set the power level appropriately for young riders, and a keyed ignition switch makes sure there are no unauthorized rides. Like the QuadSport Z50, the Z90 is packed with quality, safety and style making it the perfect choice for young ATV riders to learn on.  MSRP $2,949, available in Black/Yellow, available in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki KingQuad 400FSi 

 

The 2018 Suzuki KingQuad 400FSi features a five-speed manual-shift transmission and semi-automatic clutch for riders for favor sportier ATV performance. The fuel injected 376cc engine cranks out an impressive amount of torque and has an incredibly wide powerband for increased performance. Durable manual transmission with semi-automatic clutch lets the rider select how the power is delivered and it’s easy to select 2WD or 4WD via a handlebar-mounted lever. The engine also delivers outstanding fuel efficiency, clean emissions and great performance. 2018 Suzuki KingQuad 400ASi

The 2018 Suzuki KingQuad 400ASi has a fully automatic Quadmatic transmission, with two- and four-wheel drive modes to handle rough trail conditions. The air-and-oil cooled fuel-injected 376cc four-stroke; four-valve engine produces efficient power and drivability across the entire powerband. The KingQuad 400ASi is available in Flame Red or Terra Green body work. The KingQuad 400ASi CAMO has True Timber camouflage on the rugged fenders to help riders blend in when they don’t want to be seen. For 2018, the KingQuad 400ASi is also available in a Special Edition finish of Solid Matte Sword Black. 2018 Suzuki KingQuad 500AXi

The 2018 Suzuki KingQuad 500AXi's fuel injected, 493cc, liquid-cooled engine provides exceptional performance throughout the powerband with a strong mid- to high-end punch. The fully automatic Quadmatic transmission incorporates an advanced engine-braking system minimizes free-wheeling with the throttle off and helps control the vehicle during steep descents. Easy, push-button controls let the rider choose between two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive or four-wheel drive with a locked differential. Available in Flame Red or Terra Green, the KingQuad 500AXI is also offered in True Timber camouflage. MSRP $7,399 for Red or Green, and $7,999 for CAMO, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki KingQuad 500AXi Power Steering

Riders will really appreciate how the innovative, electronic power steering system reduces turning effort and damps vibration to the rider.  Available in Flame Red, Terra Green, or True Timber camouflage the KingQuad 500AXi Power Steering is also available in a Special Edition finish of Solid Matte Sword Black. MSRP $8,299 for Red or Green, and $8,699 for CAMO, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki KingQuad 750AXi

The 2018 Suzuki KingQuad 750AXi is designed for high performance on the trail or on the job. Its powerful 722cc, fuel-injected and liquid cooled engine features a twin-spark-plugs for quick starting in cold weather and smooth, strong overall performance.  A large under-seat fuel tank keeps seat height low while the plush, T-shaped seat delivers an extended, comfortable riding range. Riders are in full control at all times as the fender-mounted shifter controls the range or reverse selection of the fully-automatic, Quadmatic transmission. Mounted right on the handlebars is a pushbutton 2WD, 4WD or 4WD full-lock drive mode selector and an over-rev button that makes sure riders have the power they need to get the quad out of muddy, sticky situations. The ride is smooth through the fully independent and adjustable suspension that has the cargo or towing capacity. Available in Flame Red or Terra Green, the KingQuad 750AXi is also offered in True Timber camouflage. MSRP $8,599 for Red or Green, and $8,999 for CAMO, in dealers in July 2017.

2018 Suzuki KingQuad 750AXi Power Steering

Because the innovative, electronic power steering effort is so light, this Quad has higher handlebars designed to increase the riders comfort. Available in Flame Red, Terra Green, or True Timber camouflage the KingQuad 750AXi Power Steering is also available in a Special Edition finish of Solid Matte Sword Black. MSRP $9,199 for Red or Green, $9,699 for CAMO, and $9,599 for Special Edition, in dealers in July 2017.
