FIM North America announces roster for 2026 Intercontinental Games
FIM North America has unveiled its rider lineup for the 2026 FIM Intercontinental Games, set for Dec. 10-13 at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Goiânia, Brazil. The event will bring together competitors from the six FIM Continental Unions, including Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania.
Following the inaugural Intercontinental Games in 2024, FIM North America will again field teams in circuit racing competition, while also participating in the event’s newly added motocross category. According to organizers, riders will compete aboard identical FIM-provided Yamaha YZF-R3 and YZF-R7 motorcycles in the Supersport 300 and Supersport classes.
“The FIM Intercontinental Games offers an excellent opportunity to showcase the abilities of our North American riders on a global stage,” says Rob Dingman, president of FIM North America and president and CEO of the AMA. “We are confident in the group that we selected to represent our continent, as each of these racers have shown the necessary skill, determination and pride to compete on behalf of our CONU in this international competition.”
Each category will feature four riders, including one female competitor per team. FIM North America’s delegation will include 12 riders across three disciplines.

The 2026 FIM Intercontinental Games will mark the first time motocross has been included in the international competition format. FIM North America consists of the American Motorcyclist Association, the Canadian Motorcycle Association and the Barbados Motoring Federation. The continental union is responsible for coordinating championship events and international competition opportunities for riders throughout the region.
