Bob Parsons’ GO AZ Motorcycles is hosting a four-part ride series this summer to benefit Big Bully Rescue and Mayday Pit Bull Rescue. The Summer Saves rides will be held twice a month from June 11 – July 23, beginning at the GO AZ Motorcycles' Peoria location and ending at select destinations that provide relaxing, scenic outings for participants. A five dollar per bike donation is being requested and additional monetary and dog supply donations will be collected with all proceeds benefiting the rescue organizations.

“Our founder, Bob Parsons, is passionate about giving back to the community and the team here at GO AZ Motorcycles strives to uphold that example,” said Shawn Ringwood, general manager of GO AZ Motorcycles in Peoria. “The rescue organizations we’ve partnered with work toward a great cause and I think bikers can relate to the pit bulls; they’re both a misunderstood breed.”
Big Bully Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving shelter, stray and abandoned bully breed - and the misunderstood Molosser Breed - dogs. They also work to provide ongoing support to adoptive families and advocate against the negative image of these breeds. Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy is devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating and securing placement for pit bulls and pit bull mixes into conscientious, permanent and loving homes. They also focus on community education promoting responsible pit bull ownership and raising awareness for breed specific legislation.
