At age 5, Italika leads motorcycle sales in Mexico
At the company’s fifth anniversary, Italika brand motorcycles are the best-selling motorcycles in Mexico with a 55 percent market share, according to a release from Grupo Elektra, a Latin American financial services company and specialty retailer.
During the past five years, 800,000 Italika motorcycles have been sold, the company reports. Italika’s assembly plant, located in Toluca, State of Mexico, has an annual production capacity of 300,000 units.
Italika produces motorcycles for Mexico and a number of countries in Latin America.
