Kawasaki to stop competing in MotoGP-class motorcycle races

Kawasaki Heavy Industries will stop competing in MotoGP-class motorcycle races in 2009, reported the company.

It cost the company about $44.8 million annually to participate in the races. The company says whether it will return to the races depends on the business climate.
