AMA to host pro riders at Hall of Fame Museum

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) will host a number of off-road riders of the new extreme sport Endurocross at the AMA’s Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum Friday, Oct. 3, according to an AMA press release.

“The AMA’s Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is very pleased to welcome these stars of the knock-down, drag-out, anything-goes sport of Endurocross,” Mark Mederski, executive director of the AMA’s Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, said in the press release. “This will be a unique chance for visitors to both meet today’s top racers and experience motorcycling’s heritage, evident in the current rotating exhibits and permanent collection of the AMA’s Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.”

Pro riders expected to attend, include Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ricky Dietrich, Destry Abbott and Damon Huffman; Red Bull KTM’s Mike Lafferty, Taddy Blasuziak and Mike Brown; and Zip-Ty Suzuki’s Ty Davis.

Also expected to attend the autograph session are two of America’s off-road riders, AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famers John Penton, founder of Penton Motorcycles and Jack Penton, 12-time International Six Day Trials competitor.
