Suzuki recalls more than 9,000 GSX motorcycles
American Suzuki Motor Corp. recalled 9,109 model year 2008 GSX-1300R motorcycles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recall is because of improper routing of the ignition switch wiring harness. Repeated side-to-side movement of the handlebar might cause the ignition switch lead wires to become cut or broken. As a result, an intermittent or compete loss of power could occur, increasing the risk of an accident.
