Ducati debuts 1098 F08
Among the slew of activities that took place during World Ducati Week 2007, from June 28-July 1, Ducati took the opportunity to show of the new 1098 F08, the company said in a press release July 1.
The bike, which uses a 1200cc engine, will race in the next Superbike World Championship. Ducati racer Troy Bayliss demonstrated the F08 for WDW’s 50,000 attendees at the Misano World Circuit in Misano Adriatico, Italy.
The 1098 F08 is still in its factory development stage. It will replace the 999 to comply with the draft regulations the International Motorcycling Federation issued last month.
