Survey finds increase in fourth-quarter Harley-Davidson sales
Harley-Davidson new unit sales in the United States were up 4 to 6 percent in the fourth quarter, according to a dealer survey.
Dealers also indicated they were not as comfortable with inventory levels this year as last, according to the survey conducted by A.G. Edwards & Sons.
The survey of 35 dealers in 25 states makes up approximately 5 percent of the company’s U.S. dealer base. A.G. Edwards & Sons said the survey was skewed toward the largest dealerships in major metropolitan areas.
