CPSC releases study on passengers in ATV crashes
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has released a study that focuses on ATV crashes involving passengers.
Of the 2,454 ATV crashes reported from 2005-07, 536 fatalities were identified as related to a vehicle carrying more than one rider. The study looks at the passenger location on the ATV, rider characteristics and incident characteristics.
