Maryland dealership adds WaveRunners to lineup

Pete’s Cycle of Baltimore is proud to announce that the dealership will be carrying the 2014 Yamaha VX Series Waverunners.

“These are some excellent machines, and really show why Yamaha is a top producer of WaveRunners,” said John Leach of Pete’s Cycles of Maryland. “Yamaha has been making quality machines for decades, and the VX Series merely continues their tradition of matching high-performing machines with reasonable prices.”

Pete’s Cycles will be selling all three models, the VX Cruiser, Deluxe and Sport. Pete’s Cycle has three locations — Baltimore, Bel Air and Severna Park.

Harley dealer celebrates 75 years

Lake Erie Harley-Davidson in Avon, Ohio, is hosting a 75th Anniversary Party 5-10 p.m. Friday, July 18 and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, July 19. The event will include a pig roast, vendors and live music Friday from Two Guys Acoustic and Saturday from Ted Riser & Friends and the John Hardy Band. The dealership will also be selling raffle tickets for a 2014 FLHX Street Glide to benefit the American Cancer Society. The bike will be given away Sept. 25.

Alaska dealership adds AlumaSki, hosts demos

Marita Sea & Ski/Alaska Power Sports in Anchorage has added the AlumaSki PWC line to its offerings. The dealership describes the unit as “the world’s first aluminum sport/utility personal watercraft designed and constructed by Mackinnon Marine Technologies Inc., a local Alaskan company.” The dealership’s AlumaSki Premier Party and Demo Day on the Water is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Shore Ale House in Wasilla. The event will include an Alaska Boating Safety seminar, kids’ games, demos and s’mores on the bonfire. The dealership’s out-the-door price fro the AlumaSki with a Carnai galvanized trailer is $24,995.

Dealership’s staff expands

2013 Power 50 dealer The Transportation Revolution in New Orleans added six new employees in June. The new recruits include: service advisor Dustin DiSalvo, parts and accessories specialist Danny French, motorbike specialist Mike Mickey, motorbike specialist Anna Lynne Thompson, Motorbike engineer Johnnie Sanders and service writer Bradley Swick.

Ronnie’s awarded Best of the Berkshires

Ronnie’s Cycle Sales & Service Inc. in Adams, Mass., was named “Best ATV/Motorcycle Dealer” in The Berkshire Eagle’sBest of the Berkshires 2014 Reader’s Choice awards. Ronnie’s, a Polaris, Honda, Sea-Doo, Yamaha, KYMCO and Lehman Trikes, dealership, was listed among the “Travel/Auto” winners. The Best of the Berkshires are awarded by tally of about 18,000 votes from readers.

Couple opens pre-owned dealership

The husband and wife team of Todd and Lea Buzalsky recently opened Uncaged Cycles in Longview, Wash. The new dealership plans to offer pre-owned bikes, PG&A and service on 1972 and later motorcycles, reported the Longview Daily News in Longview.
