Birthday Bash 11

Iron Valley Harley-Davidson in Manheim, Pa., is celebrating Birthday Bash 11 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 with live music by Kat and the Mad Dogz, birthday cake, door prizes, Ken & Erin with MOD Jewelry, a tent sale with discounts on end-of-season MotorClothes, tattoos by Reanimated Art Tattoo Studio, patch sewing by Mauer’s Sew Creative, on-site pin stripping by Jerry, a bike giveaway provided by the Elstonville Motorcycle Club and food by Stewart’s Root Bear, Johnny & Hon’s Smokehaus and Potato Express. East Coast Biker Dec. 2013 cover girl “Dee Vee” will be signing photos from noon to 5 p.m., and Billy Jackson’s Controlled Chaos! pro drag bike will be on display. For one day only, the dealership will also offer 11 percent off all H-D LED lighting, Boom audio products and men’s and women’s leather jackets and denim jeans. 

Harley dealership adds EBR bikes

Hal’s Harley-Davidson in New Berlin, Wis., recently added EBR bikes and Racewear to its offerings. The line was launched during a May 9-10 unveiling and open house. The event featured the EBR Product Trailer and info about the EBR 1190RX. Erik Buell, founder of EBR, also stopped by May 9 to kickoff the open house. Hal’s recently completed a renovation of its 12,000-square-foot showroom and offices, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. The next phase of construction, which has already begun, will include the addition of a café.

Gunner giveaway

Kearney Powersports in Nebraska announced that it will be giving away a 2015 Victory Gunner at its last Bike Night event of the year on July 11, with various chances to be a key qualifier throughout the spring and summer.

Dealership celebrates 30 years

Lima Harley-Davidson in Lima, Ohio, recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. Mike Joyce opened the dealership on May 11, 1984, Lima H-D reported on its Facebook page. A party was held May 10 featuring live music by Bad Attitude, stunt performances by the Wheelie Wizard, free food, beverages, a giveaway of 30 $30 gift cards and selected items for $19.84, to honor the year of the dealership’s founding. 

36 Hour Non Stop Tent Event

Gail’s Harley-Davidson in Grandview, Mo., is hosted a 36 Hour Non Stop Tent Event May 16 to 17 in celebration of Armed Forces Day, which was this past Saturday. The event started last Wednesday with a happy hour kick-off, free beverages, a free BBQ, fun with DJ Chuck Nasty and a bikini bike wash. Thursday included huge raffles and hot hourly values. From Friday until Saturday, the dealership was open 36-hours straight. Friday included $1,500 over trade-in value on any metric trade toward a pre-owned 2013 or 2014 Harley-Davidson, free donuts and coffee from 7-9 a.m., live music from 6 p.m. to dusk, free hamburgers and hot dogs, free beverages, 40 percent off all men’s H-D performance shirts, 25 percent off Strider bikes, 70 percent off men’s and women’s end of season apparel, $50 off an All Pro Wheel Chock, 20 percent off labor on an accessory install, fireworks at dusk and a midnight ride sponsored by American Heartland H.O.G. Saturday included a free pancake breakfast from 7-9 a.m. with donations going to the U.S.O., military vehicles on-site, kids activities, live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., photos with pinups, $10 logo T-shirts, $15 logo tank tops, $20 logo sweatshirts, 15 percent off H-D luggage and a free SYN-3 upgrade with regularly scheduled service, excluding oil changes. Throughout the event, a huge tent full of pre-owned bikes was open; the dealership donated $100 to the U.S.O. for every bike sold, and it offered 75 percent off MOD jewelry and a free gift for current and veteran military members.
