Feb. 10, 2003 – Cold Wave boosts Marshall

When Marshal Distributing was named exclusive U.S. distributor for the Cold Wave brand of apparel last November, management knew the move would require some changes at the Cass City, Mich., distributor. One of the most obvious has been in the area of new personnel.
Perhaps most significant was the hiring of Mike Hawrylo as vice president of operations.
Hawrylo has spent 29 years in Canada as an executive in the power sports aftermarket industry. Most recently, he was vice president of operations at Action Accessories Ltd. for 21 years. After the purchase of Action Accessories Ltd. by Kimpex International in 1994, he stayed on as North American vice president of operations. Hawrylo’s responsibilities will include improving transit times in the northeast, strengthening the sales staff, introducing new marketing strategies, and insuring the growth of high profile products such as GMAX, FLY, Vesrah, and Coldwave.
Other changes at Marshall include the promotion of Ron Uyeno to the position of outside sales representative covering Vermont and New Hampshire. He was formerly an independent sales representative in the northern New England area. He can be reached at 989/872-2109 or email ronu@marshalldistributing.com.
Also joining the Marshall Distributing sales force as an outside rep is Maureen Baker. She has worked with dealers in western New York for the last 21 years.
More changes at White brothers
White Brothers Performance Products, Yorba Linda, Calif., has made another set of organizational changes.
Lori Clark, vice president of operations, will spearhead the Information Technology, Purchasing & Manufacturing groups as well as the distribution centers; John Bui, vice president of finance, is responsible for accounting, human resources and facilities management; Brad Karstens, director of marketing, has authority for marketing, advertising, catalog, art development, website and communications efforts, and Pete Pendelton, director of sales, leads the White Brothers brand sales, inside sales, customer relations, field sales and dealer development strategies.
DRAG SPECIALTIES CATALOG
Drag Specialties’ 2003 FatBook catalog is now available, and features many new items for cruiser riders.
Python exhaust systems, Drag’s complete front fork/triple tree assemblies, and custom wheels continue to headline the 1,050-page full-color catalog. In addition, Drag Specialties has added items like Rinehart exhausts by BUB and frames by Paramount Custom Cycle, as well as adding a selection of Python starter motors, custom accessories from names like Arlen Ness, Joker Machine and Accutronix, plus the latest in tools and maintenance products from JIMS.
