After years of development and planning, Southern Honda Powersports has officially opened its new facility.
The 73,000 square-foot building opened Saturday with festivities, and general manager David Carmody telling the Chattanoogan, “This is an exciting time for us. Whether our customers are looking for all-terrain vehicles, side-by-sides, motorcycles, dirt bikes or other equipment, they will be able to find what they need and can buy with confidence because of the reliable performance of the Honda brand.”
Powersports Business spoke with owner and founder Tim Kelly in a previous digital edition to learn how its dealerships effectively leveraged local partnerships for tax incentives for the new location.
We’ll reach out again to see if they’ve learned anything throughout the process, so keep an eye on future coverage.
