Rossmeyer group closes Fort Lauderdale store

Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson is closing its Fort Lauderdale, Fla., store, folding the operation into its Sunrise, Fla., location.

The Rossmeyer group cited slow sales as the reason for the shutdown, according to the Sun Sentinel. Twenty-two jobs will be lost as a result of the closure. In addition to the Sunrise location, the Rossmeyer group also owns Harley dealerships in Daytona and New Symrna Beach, Fla. A Pompano Beach store was closed in 2010.
