Gas prices drop by 5 cents per gallon

Average retail gasoline prices in the U.S. have fallen 5.7 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.36 per gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

The national average has decreased 11.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 49.3 cents per gallon higher than it was one year ago.
