BRP recalls about 2,400 Can-Am ATVs

In cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), BRP voluntarily recalled about 2,400 MY 2010 Can-Am Outlander and Renegade ATVs, according to the CPSC.

The vehicles were recalled because the dynamic power steering can fail, resulting in the sudden loss of steering control, reported the CPSC. The firm has received one incident report with no injury, no material damages.

The vehicles were sold by authorized Can-Am dealers nationwide from August-November 2009 for between $6,800-$13,500.
