KYMCO issues recall

KYMCO has issued a recall after it was discovered that on some vehicles the front hydraulic brake might be damaged due to improper routing, causing the hydraulic brake line to fail. This failure can cause a loss of control of the vehicle resulting in injury, crash or death.

The recall involves certain model year 2015-1026 KYMCO Super-8 X 50 and 150 models.

2016 Super – 8 150 X: LC2D3J1_GC200101 – LC2D3J1_GC200134

Due to the nature of this recall, KYMCO suggests that all vehicles be repaired regardless of whether or not the existing hydraulic brake line exhibits the conditions noted in this recall. Owners must schedule an appointment for the repair of their vehicle with an authorized KYMCO dealer.
