SuperTrapp celebrates 40th anniversary
SuperTrapp Industries is celebrating its 40th year as a manufacturer of comprehensive performance exhaust systems.
The company started in 1971 in Davis, Calif., when inventor Paul Moller designed a motorcycle muffler with his tunable disc technology, according to a press release from the company. In 1980, SuperTrapp added automotive exhausts, followed by ATV systems in the 1990s. In 1991, SuperTrapp purchased Kerker, once a competitior. The company is still known for its tunable disc technology.
“SuperTrapp is poised to continue their legacy and deliver the best performance exhausts in V-twin, metric, dirt, sport, ATV and automotive exhaust applications,” the release stated.
