Kawasaki makes executive team promotions
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) has made several personnel moves related to the reorganization announced in March. The departmental changes are intended to place greater focus on Kawasaki’s marketing efforts, announced the company in a press release.
Among those title changes formalized by the company is that of Tak Teranishi, Kawasaki’s president, who will also temporarily fill the position of vice president of marketing and sales/chief marketing officer. Dave Dora assumes the role of executive vice president of corporate operations/COO, and Tod Kuwata is executive vice president of finance and treasurer/CFO.
Reporting to Teranishi in his temporary role is Chris Brull, director of marketing communications; Odeon Dy, director of market and product strategy; Bill Jenkins, director of national sales; and Jim Williams, director of sales planning and promotion. Collectively, this group has more than 45 years of experience with Kawasaki.
According to Teranishi, “The new organization, led by this experienced group of KMC executives, will help our brand maintain the growth we’ve experienced during the past few months.”
