Dealership recognized by congresswoman

Reiman’s Harley-Davidson, which received national attention in July when it returned a storage payment to a soldier’s wife because the dealership stores deployed soldiers’ bikes for free, has now earned a congresswoman’s attention for its generosity.

U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos of Illinois stopped by the Kewanee, Ill., dealership on Feb. 9 to present Reiman’s with a Congressional Record statement. The statement was “to commend them for their service to our nation’s men and women in uniform. They have a policy of waiving storage fees for the motorcycles of deployed service members — what a nice way to say thank you to those who serve,” Bustos wrote on her Facebook page.
