Polaris adds to Iowa workforce

With the introduction of Indian Motorcycle’s new Scout, Polaris Industries is ramping up its workforce in Spirit Lake, Iowa, where it’s currently filling 300 positions.

Company officials told the Des Moines Register that an increase in numbers was needed, as the Scout’s final assembly will be completed in Spirit Lake. Once those positions are filled, Polaris will have 1,050 employees at that facility. The final assembly of all Indian Motorcycles is completed at that plant.
