Bombardier recently expanded the Outlander family of ATVs with its introduction of two Outlander 330 models. The manufacturer now offers five Outlander ATVs, including the 400 4x4 and 4x2, the Outlander 400 XT, plus the four-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive versions of the new 330cc Outlander.
The Outlander XT includes chrome rims and aftermarket tires, heavy-duty front and rear bumpers, hand guards and a Warn winch.
The Outlander 330 models use the same rolling chassis as the 400cc model. Its 325cc 4-Tec four-stroke engine is among the new family of Rotax engines. Like the 400, the 330 models use a continuously variable automatic transmission.
The Outlander ATVs fill the middle ground in the ATV economy, a spot that Bombardier has neglected until now. The 400cc 4x4 retails for $5,999, the 4x2 for $5,199. The Outlander 330 4x4 will retail for $5,399, and the 4x2 for $4,599.
