BMW USA Q1 motorcycle sales up 7.6 percent

BMW Motorrad USA reported sales of 1,525 motorcycles in March, an increase of 7.6 percent from the 1,417 bikes sold in March 2012. Year-to-date through March, BMW Motorrad USA is up 4.9 percent on sales of 2,964 bikes, compared to 2,826 bikes sold in the first quarter of 2012. The middleweight F-Series motorcycles led the way with growth of 65 percent (363 units in Q1 2013 compared to 220 Q1 2012).
