Cub Cadet introduces new crossover utility vehicle

LOUISVILLE — Cub Cadet unveiled its newest UTV, the four-by-four EFI, at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo in Louisville, said Nathan Walker, senior vice president of sales for MTD Products, the parent company of Cub Cadet.

The new UTV is the first of several units Cub Cadet will launch that are geared more toward the powersports enthusiast rather than a utilitarian need, Walker said.

“The beauty of our product is you can get out with it and play with it on the weekends,” he said. “If you need to get serious, for example, tow 1,400 pounds, you can do that with our units.”

The UTV is powered by a 748cc liquid-cooled gas engine and can reach 32 mph.
