Vento Makes Two Moves for Growth
Vehicle supplier Vento Motorcycles, U.S.A. has retained the services of Gusman Marketing Group (GMG) to assist with the launch of its expanding product line of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and off-road bikes.
In a second move, designed to grow its dealer base, the company also announced the appointment of Scot Graves and SportMoto, Inc., as its new Northwest Regional Sales Representative, responsible for new dealer development, dealer services and support in the Pacific Northwest area, including the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
San Diego-based Vento operates an assembly facility in Laredo, Texas, and a recently opened an office and warehouse facility in Miami. The company currently serves dealers in more than 30 states.
The Gusman Marketing Group specializes in market development and penetration, and increasing sales through new and existing dealers and distribution networks. Company principals Rob H. Gusman, Robert G. Gusman and Jerry G. Gusman have served as manufacturers’ representatives for a wide variety of major corporations.
Scot Graves, president of SportMoto, Inc., has a long and diverse background in OEM retail sales and dealership management. He also founded and oversees a road racing team, based near Seattle, which has more than 15 riders and focuses on the development of racing athletes and race team structure.
