Verus Tests New ADP Lightspeed DMS
Verus Financial Management, Inc., a credit card and check processing company working with the Motorcycle Industry Council BankCard Program, has started testing ADP Lightspeed’s new NXT Dealer Management System (DMS).
This new fully integrated Lightspeed NXT release will provide dealers with the ability to process all payment methods at the point of sale to include credit card processing, debit card processing and gift card processing, all of which are fully integrated with the accounting and other system components. It enables all PC’s in a dealership to become full point-of-sale registers, and provides detailed reporting to simplify the “end of day” cash drawer routines.
ADP Lightspeed is a provider of Dealer Management Systems for the motorcycle, marine and recreational vehicle industries. It has DMS installed in over 3,000 powersports dealers. Verus Financial Management, Inc., through its partnership with Boaz Payment Systems, administers the Motorcycle Industry Council BankCard Program, an exclusive long-term partnership to provide all payment processing services to the powersports industry. This partnership began in 1997 under an exclusive long-term agreement and was recently renewed to ensure that the industry has a successful and dedicated program for the next 10 years and beyond.
The Motorcycle Industry Council receives funding from this Visa and MasterCard program each time a credit card is swiped. “The credit card processing program enables dealers to take advantage of low wholesale rates on MasterCard/Visa processing based on the collective annual sales volume of the entire Powersports Industry,” said Tim Buche, President, Motorcycle Industry Council. “It’s just one example of how the entire industry – through the Motorcycle Industry Council – can work together for extremely profitable results.”
