International Motorcycle Show Scheduled for Nov. 15-20
The International Motorbike Exhibition organized by will be held in Milan, Italy, Nov. 15-20. One of the largest motorcycle shows in the world, the event will be held in the new Milan Fair Centre opened this year.
This will be the 63rd time the show has been held in the past 91 years. Historically, it has been held every two years, alternating with the INTERMOT show in Germany, but last year Italian officials made two major changes as they planned for the opening of the new Milan facility.
First, the show would be split into two attractions, a bicycle show in September and a motorcycle show in November. Second, and perhaps more important, was the decision to hold the show annually, even when it conflicts with INTERMOT.
More than 1,800 exhibitors participated at the last combined show in 2003, and close to 750,000 persons attended the six-day event.
