Triumph, Ducati Tap New Agencies

Triumph Motorcycles USA, Newnan, Ga., has signed a new public raltions firm and Ducati North America, Cupertino, Calif., has tapped a new advertising agency.
Paul Wilmot Communications (PWC) has joined Triumph, and JMPR, Inc. has been hired by Ducati to serve as agency of record in the North American market.
Paul Wilmot spent 15 years as the executive in charge of public relations for two firms: as senior vice president for Calvin Klein, Inc., and as corporate vice president for Vogue magazine, a unit of Conde Nast Publications. Today, Wilmot’s team includes Ridgely Brode and Stormy Stokes, former principals of Croft Public Relations. Prior to founding Croft, Stokes served at Dolce & Gabbana while Brode served at Harper’s Bazaar.
Based in New York, PWC’s client list includes Calvin Klein, JLo, Sean John, Oscar de la Renta Corporate, American Ballet Theatre, Vibe magazine, MD Skincare and Salon AKS, among others.
Triumph’s advertising needs still are handled by Wayne West of Atlanta.
Ducati’s new agency, JMPR, previously worked with Triumph and Piaggio. The firm, based in Woodland Hills, Calif., will work with Ducati’s existing internal public relations team.
Other JMPR clients include Automobili Lamborghini, Bentley Motor Cars, Carroll Shelby International, Discovery Channel, Hagerty Insurance, Meguiar’s, Inc., Foose Design, the Petersen Automotive Museum, and Haynes Manuals, Inc.
