Rossmeyer Claims World’s Largest H-D Dealership

Bruce Rossmeyer, CEO of ten Harley-Davidson locations, will open the world’s largest Harley-Davidson dealership on October 21, 2005 – the 150-acre “Destination Daytona” in Ormond Beach, Fla.
Located at the intersection of US-1 and I-95 in Ormond Beach, the location features a 109,000 sq. ft. facility – a 53,953 sq. ft. showroom, 9,800 sq. ft. apparel area, and 45,897 sq. ft. parts and service department.
Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson is the first installment of Destination Daytona, an all-inclusive biker’s destination for bike lovers from all over the world, which is slated to open in May 2006. When complete, Destination Daytona will include: a hotel and condominium village, themed restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and retail stores, outdoor amphitheatre, the American Motorcycle Institute (one of the highest regarded technical schools in the country), a 100,000 sq. ft. convention center, nearly 50,000 sq. ft. of motorcycle-related businesses, and serve as home to the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau’s “Official Visitor Information Center.”
“Destination Daytona will be the definitive biker’s paradise,” said Rossmeyer. “It will be a tourist destination that bikers from all over the world will want to visit.”
