Sparta Names New CFO
Sparta Commercial Services, Inc., an Internet-based sales finance and leasing company dedicated exclusively to the powersports industry, has named Michael J. Mele as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mele replaces Daniel J. Lanjewar, who is leaving to pursue other interests.
Mele joins Sparta from Aon Consulting, where he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration for the human resources outsourcing group. Prior to Aon Consulting, he was an Executive Vice President and CFO for the Hobart West Group, a legal and staffing services firm, and prior to that a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at ASI Solutions, a Nasdaq-traded provider of human resource consulting and training services.
Sparta Commercial Services, Inc. provides a full line of financing solutions including retail installment sales contracts and leases, as well as related services including GAP coverage and vehicle service contracts.
