Sipes Rejoins AIH as National Sales Director
Gary Sipes has been named National Sales Director at American IronHorse Motorcycle Co., Fort Worth, Texas. Sipes will oversee a team of regional dealer relations managers and attempt to develop dealer prospects for the company.
Sipes holds about seven years of sales management experience with a core history in the motorcycle industry. Sipes previously served as dealer relations manager for American IronHorse, as well as sales manager for Rick Fairless’ Strokers Dallas, one of the country’s top American IronHorse dealerships. Prior to that, he worked in Michigan as the District Sales Manager for Yamaha Motor Corp., running all the company’s order programs in the area for motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and scooters; and as manager of Chrome Specialties’ Southwest dealer sales region.
Founded in 1995, AIH designs and builds a line of cruiser and chopper motorcycles. The manufacturer distributes its bikes to more than 100 dealerships nationwide, including dealers in Texas, California, Florida and New York.
Last week, AIH said it reached a $40 million financing agreement with Textron Financial Corporation, Providence, R.I., The package will give American IronHorse dealers access to a range of new custom financing. The exclusive deal with Textron Financial replaces all prior AIH supported programs and provides for new free flooring plans, increased credit lines and other flexible inventory financing options, AIH said.
