OEM Parties in Europe
Two European motorcycle manufacturers are planning celebrations for the coming months. The first to take place is World Ducati Week, May 17-23, in Misano Adriatico, Italy; the second is the 6th annual KTM Festival, scheduled for June 10-12 in Mattighofen, Austria.
World Ducati Week 2004 is scheduled to be seven days of non-stop activities on the renowned Santa Monica racetrack.
In addition to visiting the stunning Italian countryside solo or through organized tours, attendees will be able to mount up and learn to ride with trained professionals at Ducati’s official riding school; ride the track for the entire week; watch the introduction of the Ducati MotoGP and SBK teams; and simply take in an atmosphere in which everything gravitates toward Ducati.
Want to learn how to do basic upkeep on your Duc? There’ll be a course. Want to hear what’s on the minds of Ducati engineers, racers and mechanics? There’ll be lectures.
A couple of hundred miles north, in Austria, the annual KTM Festival is another event run over several days at which brand enthusiasts from all round the world can meet together, race together, and party together.
Visitors will be able to take KTM factory tours, guided road and off-road tours, meet KTM factory riders , watch action-packed motocross, enduro and supermoto competitions, and take part in numerous other shows and demonstrations.
