Accelerate conference provides conversational atmosphere, informal takeaways

Throughout a full day of seminars featuring speakers that often felt more like an informal Q&A, bouncing ideas and offering insights, numerous participants expressed the benefit received from day one of the two-day conference.

“We heard about it through the weekly enewsletter and it really seemed like the first conference of its kind to come around like this. Any time you get the opportunity to get together with people from the industry and learn something it’s a good idea,” said Trey Cusick, general manager of Jay Hatfield Motorsports of Wichita, Kansas. “You always want to stay ahead of the curve, whatever that curve is. It’s eye-opening to see how many opportunities we have to improve what we’re doing.”

After the seminars concluded everyone in attendance was able to network with their fellow peers and seminar leaders.

“I was given the opportunity to come yesterday… It was a last minute decision where all the pieces fell in place, and I’m excited to learn,” said Tyler Svoke, fixed operations director with Lang Equipment in New York, pointing to a notebook of notes he had taken. “I’ve enjoyed it more than I thought I would, to be honest. My goal is always to take one or two key items from every experience, whether it’s a conference or seminar, that I can put into place and grow what we’re currently doing.”
