Another dealership announces closure; ‘Re: The Pandemic Wins’

Another motorcycle dealership has announced it is going out of business, with its last day of operations scheduled for Sept. 30, 2020. According to the Facebook of Barnett’s Las Cruces Harley-Davidson in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kimberly Barnett writes:

“To our valued customers and many friends of Barnett’s Las Cruces Harley-Davidson,

“Re: The Pandemic Wins

“It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you we will be permanently closing the dealership in Las Cruces on September 30th. We are so appreciative of your support over the years and it has been our honor to serve you.

“Although our doors will close, our El Paso dealership doors are, and will remain, open to serve you. You might even see some familiar faces as we plan to transfer some of the Las Cruces employees to El Paso.”

The Barnett family started selling Harley-Davidson motorcycles in El Paso, Texas, in 1977. The Las Cruces location opened in 2000 and offered 27,000 square-feet as part of its operations.

The dealership had 4.5/5 stars on Google Reviews, with 393 customers contributing to the ranking. It also had 4,662 Facebook followers. The Facebook post generated 99 comments and 126 shares.
