Parts revenues see major July boost: Lightspeed

Exclusive data provided to Powersports Business readers from CDK Lightspeed shows the July revenue performances at 1,695 dealerships in the U.S. that use the Lightspeed Dealer Management System (DMS). The Same Store Sales data is compiled from dealerships that were open in both July 2018 and July 2019.

A total of 23 of the 24 data points that you will find on the map in the Finance section of the upcoming edition of the Powersports Business print edition of the magazine showed growth in July vs. July 2018.

In particular, Parts revenue grew by 4 percent at the average Lightspeed dealership, Service revenue was up 5.8 percent and Major Unit (new and pre-owned) sales revenue saw a whopping 10.3 percent increase.

It all combined for an average overall revenue increase of 9.4 percent in July 2019 vs. July 2018. Collectively celebrate for a bit, then check out how well your region fared on the map in the upcoming edition of PSB. — Dave
