Beta USA adds two dealer development managers

Beta USA announced that it has added to its dealer development staff by hiring a pair of dealer development managers for the Eastern and Western U.S.

Bill Anderson will handle the duties in the Western states while Rod Overstreet will manage the East. Beta’s sales have been growing steadily over the past 10 years with the focus being on customer service and dealer quality.

“My staff and I are very excited to have both Bill and Rod be a part of our sales team,” said Beta USA president Tim Pilg. “Our factory has increased production to meet the demands of the U.S. market so it made sense to expand our dealer support team. The main focus is to work with our existing dealer network to provide them with the tools to be successful as well as adding new dealers in open areas where we currently have Beta riders but no dealers near them.”

Overstreet’s life has been dedicated to the motorcycle industry and to the sport of off-road. Starting with his first bike at age 8, he has continued to race motocross, enduros, hare scrambles, and most recently began riding observed trials. He is a charter life member of the AMA and served as District 10 Off-Road Competition Congressman for his home state of Kentucky.

Rod Overstreet

Overstreet began his professional career 35 years ago, starting out in motorcycle dealerships before moving onto working with other major OEMs including KTM, Husqvarna, Gas Gas and now with Beta USA as the Eastern Region Dealer Development Manager.

When Rod isn’t riding or racing, he supports his motorcycle community by attending events and promoting the sport. He also enjoys street riding and of course spending time with his family.

Anderson was born in Helena, Montana. His family moved several times and he lived in Austin, Texas, and Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, before moving back to Montana.

Bill Anderson

His love for motorcycles began as far back as he can remember. In elementary school he rode his bicycle to the local Honda shop where the mechanics would let him hang out and fetch them coffee and tools. His dad got him his first minibike at the age of 10 and he was hooked. Decades later he has owned over 30 different bikes. He rides as often as he can and loves off road, dual-sport, and adventure riding.

Anderson attended the University of Montana where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Work experience in several dealerships over the years provided valuable experience in sales and customer service. He has had Honda and Yamaha sales training, and had DynoJet dynamometer tuning training.

He recently owned and managed a Beta dealership in Spokane, Washington. Being impressed with the quality of the bikes, the professionalism and the passion of Beta USA, he jumped at the chance to join Beta.

Anderson is now the Western Dealer Development manager for Beta USA. He will be working with existing dealers to optimize their experience and success with the Beta brand as well as adding a small amount of new dealers in open markets.
