Dealer seminars at AIMExpo announced
The 2019 Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo boast an enhanced curriculum tailored specifically for dealers. Since the show’s inception, Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo have been produced in partnership with EPG Media & Specialty Information, publisher of Powersports Business magazine. The premier sponsors of the Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo are National Powersport Auctions and Synchrony.
In a time of massive change in terms of consumer buying habits, the 2019 dealer education program has been created to address the new market challenges, equipping dealers with the tools to connect with and engage consumers. The 2019 Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo will feature 18 interactive and instructive sessions across three tracks, each curated to the most crucial business needs of any dealer in a changing market. Returning to the lineup for 2019 are the Dealer Roundtables. Scheduled just before the AIMExpo General Session Thursday afternoon, Dealer Roundtables allow dealers to collaborate with their dealer peers about challenges they face as dealership operators. Multiple roundtable discussions will take place concurrently, allowing dealers to take advantage of the knowledge and experience from industry colleagues on various topics. Dealers will be able to capitalize on the intelligence sharing operation with three different 30-minute roundtable sessions. A different topic of discussion will be offered at each table. As always, the Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo will focus on providing attendees with critical information and tools aimed at enhancing powersports dealership profitability and operations. The curriculum is developed with the goal of improving all facets of the powersports retail business model in three key tracks: Sales & Marketing sponsored by Torque Group; Powering Profits sponsored by Aegis Powersports, and Leadership Plus sponsored by McGraw Powersports Western Service Contract.
“Following the 2018 show, our team sought the feedback from the industry by meeting with dealers, the aftermarket and our OEM partners while also attending other industry conferences to gain better insight into the challenges that face this business and ways we can adapt,” said Cinnamon Kernes, Vice President & General Manager, MIC Events. “This input translated into a revamped educational platform designed to cover more relevant topics, address the current state of the market and ways to adapt to ever-changing consumer needs.”
To address the evolving marketplace, completely new subject matter, such as an ROI vs ROE seminar presented by Jill Nickels has been introduced. Jill is a changing retail expert and combines her business analytical skills, creativity, and vision to guide retail clients. Jill will talk about how by 2020 customer experience will overtake price and product as the key brand differentiator and that the purpose of physical stores has shifted to engagement and connection. Dealers attending AIMExpo 2019 will be able to join Jill for a deeper dive into developing a more valuable experience for customers coming to your dealership.
All Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo sessions for 2019 will be held during the event’s exclusive trade days on Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27. The roster of speakers scheduled for this year includes both knowledgeable business veterans new to AIMExpo as well as returning seminar leaders, all of whom are well-respected voices from both inside and outside the industry.
“We’re excited to bring another must-attend lineup of seminars and speakers to AIMExpo in September,” said Powersports Business Editor-in-Chief Dave McMahon, who strategically formulated the presentation lineup for the seventh year in a row. “As we know, the theme of this year’s show is ‘Together We Rise,’ and we’re taking that same approach to providing dealerships with the type of educational training that can simply help them grow as they return to their businesses. We have an extremely talented and intelligent group of speakers. Some are familiar faces who have ranked highly in dealer evaluations from past years; others are new to the seminars but bring expertise and excitement for a topic that we believe also will be beneficial for dealers.”
The Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo is an entirely free program aimed at providing substantial ROI to dealership staff who invest their time to attend AIMExpo. Dealers are free to choose whichever sessions they would like to attend, with the average dealer attending three seminars over the two-day event.
