SHOEI receives award at 60th anniversary celebration
On May 21, 2019, Helmet House Inc. presented SHOEI Helmets Inc. with an award for 60 years of manufacturing excellence. The award ceremony took place at the SHOEI 60thanniversary celebration at the famed Hotel Chinzanso in Tokyo, Japan, in front of SHOEI’s many distributors and business partners from around the world.
The award — which was engraved with an inscription that reads, “Thank you for 47 years of doing business together and for building the finest motorcycle helmets on Earth” — was presented to SHOEI President Kenichiro Ishida by Helmet House Co-Founder Phil Bellomy, along with Vice President Gary Ramlow.
Ishida also presented Helmet House with a SHOEI Official Distributor Award. Helmet House has been in partnership with SHOEI since 1972 and is the world’s largest independent SHOEI distributor.
“Helmets are why we got into business in the first place and SHOEI manufactures the best,” Bellomy said. “Co-Founder and President Bob Miller and I both feel privileged to be a part of SHOEI’s growth and success for the past 47 years and look forward to many more years of partnership. It is with sincere pleasure that we were able to present SHOEI with this award on behalf of Helmet House and all our employees in recognition of SHOEI’s 60 years in business.”
