Mahindra, Rush Limbaugh announce winner of Military Salute UTV

Mahindra North America presented the winner of The Rush Limbaugh Show’s Fifth Annual Mahindra Military Salute Giveaway with a Mahindra Retriever utility vehicle in recognition of his service in the U.S. Air Force.  This years’ winner is retired Lieutenant Colonel Steve Walker. As in the last four years, Lt. Col. Walker was randomly selected from the thousands of active or retired military personnel who were nominated in the sweepstakes. In addition to his service in the Air Force as an Instructor Navigator, Lt. Col. Walker currently teaches and coaches football at Jefferson City High School in his hometown of Jefferson City, MO. “It’s a privilege to recognize and thank Lt. Col. Walker, one of our nation’s heroes with a Mahindra utility vehicle through this Military Salute program. We appreciate his service to our country. We also offer our Mahindra Pride Military Appreciation Rebate which gives us the opportunity to thank our service men and women for the sacrifices they make every day,” said Jay Litsey, vice president, Marketing and Strategic Planning, Mahindra NA. “We value the opportunity to work with our long-time partner, The Rush Limbaugh Show to honor our military through this program. Supporting our military is an important aspect of Mahindra’s Rise initiative to drive positive change and transform lives in our communities.”

In addition to his service in the Air Force as an Instructor Navigator, Lt. Col. Walker currently teaches and coaches football in Jefferson City, MO. Col. Walker. “My first ride around the football field was amazing; the seats are roomy and incredibly comfortable. I look forward to driving the Retriever around our property.”
