Dealership recovers stolen ORV after theft, two units still missing

M&M Powersports, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, has recovered one of its stolen ORVs, while two remain missing, after a theft totaling approximately $100,000 happened in June, according to WSAZ News.

The dealership’s general manager Marty Williams told WSAZ News that five ORVs were stolen. One was damaged immediately and recovered, and a dealership customer helped police recover another after spotting it on Aug. 21. A 2017 Kawasaki Teryx and a 2017 Polaris RZR 900 are still missing. The thefts took place during the early morning hours on June 1 and June 4.

Williams thanked the community and dealership’s customers for continuing to search for the stolen ORVs and report any news to local police. Williams told the news channel, “I cannot short sell how wonderful our customers are because they’re the ones that stick behind us and are working on this and bringing us leads right and left to find these machines and find the people that have done this. We will get them. No doubt about it because the customers are just fed up.”
