Vice President Pence may attend AIMExpo
Larry Little, vice president and general manager of MIC events, confirmed Friday that the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo), has reached out to Vice President Mike Pence, and Pence may address the industry at the Sept. 21-24 show in Columbus, Ohio.
The idea came from Bob Althoff, dealer principal of A.D. Farrow Harley-Davidson in the Columbus area. Althoff wrote a letter to Pence and was told by Pence’s staff that his appearance at AIMExpo was being considered. Congressman Jim Renacci of Ohio, a friend of Althoff’s, mentioned the show to Pence in a meeting, and Pence told his staff to “make it happen.”
Pence is a motorcyclist himself and even has a dog named “Harley.”
