Zero Motorcycles announces European Premiere

News release

Zero Motorcycles, the global leader in the electric motorcycle industry, announced today that its complete line of 100 percent electric motorcycles will be presented in Milan at EICMA, the world’s largest motorcycle trade show, from November 19-22.

Zero unveiled their 2016 motorcycles and accessories at the AIMExpo event in Florida on October 15th, generating an impressive amount of international media attention. The European introduction at EICMA is expected to be equally sensational. Zero Motorcycles added two new models to their model line, and faster charging will be possible with the Charge Tank accessory. The signature Z-Force powertrain achieves higher performance with a proprietary new motor design, and larger battery capacities assure the longest range ever.

The supermoto-based Zero FXS and max adventure Zero DSR will be shown to the public for the first time in Europe. Zero delivers even greater value by lowering the price on the base models of the Zero S and Zero DS, while adding more features and performance throughout.

“Europe represents about half of our global business, and the 2016 model line reflects our commitment to appeal to an increasingly diverse range of discerning riders,” said Zero Motorcycles CEO Richard Walker. “With increased performance, up to 317 km of city range and greater value, we look forward to many more people experiencing the thrill of electric.”

The new 2016 models will be available at European dealerships starting from November. “We encourage riders to schedule a demo ride at their nearest dealership. With the continuously expanding dealer network in Europe, we are serving more motorcyclists every month,” said Umberto Uccelli, managing director of Zero Motorcycles Europe.
