KTM announces partnership with helmet company

KTM North America, Inc. is pleased to announce its latest collaboration with Schuberth GmbH, a German company specializing in premium head protection, with the addition of the Schuberth C3 Pro helmet to the 2016 KTM North American PowerWear product line.
Made exclusively for KTM, the Schuberth C3 Pro helmet, previously available only in the European collection, now brings the lightest, quietest and most aerodynamic flip-up helmet on the market to North America for the first time ever.
“KTM has experienced great success with this innovative helmet in the European PowerWear collection,” commented KTM PowerWear product line manager, Christy Brosius. “With the growing adventure segment in North America, there was a big sense of urgency for us to add this first-class touring helmet to the 2016 product line.”
The outer shell is offered in two shell sizes and constructed with materials that are put through a compression molding process to create an extremely durable, yet lightweight, shell.
The inner liner is made up of multi-density EPS foam that undergoes a special injection process for ultimate safety against shock trauma. The Schuberth C3 Pro helmet also features a built-in sun visor with a Pinlock lens and a removable, washable liner made of high-quality fabrics and materials, including Coolmax and ThermoCool, for optimal comfort in all riding conditions. A KTM-branded design is incorporated on the helmet graphic.
