Polaris seeks Slingshot approval in another state
Polaris Industries is working with the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles in an effort to have the Slingshot approved for sale in the state.
Currently, the Slingshot does not fit Connecticut’s definition of a motorcycle, meaning it can’t be sold in the state, The Associated Press reported. However, some dealers have already taken deposits for the three-wheel vehicle. The Connecticut DMV had set a meeting for last night to discuss the vehicle. DMV spokesman Ernie Bertothy said state officials are seeking a solution.
