Lotus teases C-01 super bike concept

According to a leak published by MotorcycleNews.com (MCN), British supercar builder Lotus is looking to expand its portfolio with an extreme superbike concept with a 200-horsepower V-twin engine.

Lotus previously announced its motorcycle intentions in June of 2013, saying at the time that a bike would be on sale in late 2013 or early 2014. The leaked images are the first evidence of this new bike project.

The leaked images show an extreme bike with low handlebars, a massive fork, a carbon fiber-like exterior skin, a café-style flat seat and heavy Lotus branding throughout the concept.
