Products designed to raise funds for breast cancer research
Mustang Seats, LLC and Big Bike Parts are each raising money for breast cancer research and awareness by selling products that include a donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
In its “Comfort for a Cause” campaign, Mustang is designing seats with pink ribbons, contrasting pink stitching, or pink inlays. The Massachusetts-based company will donate $10 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every limited edition seat sold during the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“We wanted to find a way to honor the survival, determination and compassion of those fighting breast cancer in a way that was uniquely Mustang,” marketing director Marilyn Simmons said. “‘Comfort For A Cause’ is a perfect way for us to do our part.”
Mustang chose the BCRF as its benefitting charity because 91 percent of the funds received go to breast cancer research and awareness programs. Customers can order seats by calling Mustang customer service at 800/243-1392, or by visiting www.mustangseats.com/Contact-Us.
Wisconsin-based Big Bike Parts will donate $5 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every UltraGard Supporting the Cause motorcycle cover sold. Each of the special edition covers has the same features as Big Bike Parts’ UltraGard classic line covers.
The Supporting the Cause covers will be sold at participating dealerships for $45.95-$55.95.
