Patrick picks Schuberth SF1 for NASCAR season
Schuberth has entered a multi-year partnership with Danica Patrick to be her official helmet supplier. Patrick, a NASCAR driver, is wearing the Schuberth SF1, the helmet worn by F1 drivers such as Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg, Nick Heidfeld and Townsend Bell.
“We are proud that Danica Patrick chose Schuberth for her head protection,” said Randy Northrup, vice president of Schuberth North America. “For over a decade, top-level Formula 1 and Indy Car drivers have chosen to race in Schuberth helmets based on recommendations from experts in head injury research and from fellow drivers.”
Patrick was first seen in the Schuberth SF1 racing in the Daytona 500 in February. She is competing in both NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup series in 2012.
“Safety and comfort are important to me, I want to wear the best. Schuberth is No. 1 in safety, so the choice was clear,” Patrick said.
