ADP Lightspeed signs on as ProfitX sponsor

LAS VEGAS — ADP Lightspeed has joined a number of leading industry companies to become actively involved as a “Powered by” sponsor for the second-annual Powersports Business Conference & Expo Profit Xcelerator, otherwise known as ProfitX. The conference, hosted by Powersports Business magazine and the powersports industry’s leading suppliers, takes place Oct. 15-17 at Las Vegas’ Red Rock Resort Casino & Spa.
ADP Lightspeed chose to support the event at the “Powered by” level, the highest ProfitX sponsorship available, because of the value it believes ProfitX holds for the industry. ADP Lightspeed was an exhibitor at last year’s inaugural event.
In addition to its sponsorship ADP Lightspeed will hold a two-day regional accounting training session in the days following the conference’s educational lineup. The dealer management software supplier will also share some of the insights it has into making dealers more profitable on the main conference agenda.
“The access we have to industry data gives us an unparalleled opportunity to identify business growth opportunities and best practices,” explains Laurn Rice, VP of ADP Lightspeed, “and we’re pleased to have a venue to share that information in addition to the technologies we’ve developed for the entire industry.”
ADP Lightspeed’s Hal Ethington will share details on how dealer principals can manage their dealerships by identifying, monitoring and improving key result influencers in his educational session “5 Metrics to Drive Profitability,” scheduled as part of the Powering Profits Track at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17. The regional training will be held Oct. 18-19 at the Red Rock Resort Casino and Spa (same location as ProfitX).
“We’re thrilled to partner with ADP Lightspeed on this year’s conference,” says Matt Gruhn, publisher of Powersports Business. “ADP Lightspeed has a history of helping dealers better manage their dealerships to stronger bottom lines, and that is evident through the company’s educational webinars and its numerous other products and services. ProfitX is proud to partner with a market leader that is so focused on educating dealers.”
In its inaugural year in 2009, ProfitX exceeded expectations by attracting more than 250 dealers. Total attendance for the event reached 350, despite the incredibly challenging economy. In 2010, ProfitX moves to Red Rock Resort Casino & Spa, where it expects to attract even more dealers and exhibitors. The event will once again feature the one-of-a-kind educational lineup — including two concurrent tracks and 15 total educational sessions — that attracted dealers last year, and more than 15,000 sq. ft. of space is available for the exhibit hall.
ADP Lightspeed, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a part of ADP Dealer Services, which provides integrated computing solutions to over 25,000 auto, truck, motorcycle, powersports, and recreational vehicle dealers throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
