Knott County hosts 4th of July ATV Ride: report

It’s common that a dealership will host a ride or event around a holiday weekend, but it’s not too often that a ride will be sponsored by an entire county. But in Knott County, Kentucky, the 3rd Annual Thunder on the Mountain ATV Ride at the Mine Made Adventure Park was held over the weekend for residents and patrons alike, according to WYMT Mountain News.

According to WYMT, “Food vendors are available, there will be a guided trail ride Saturday at 10:30 a.m. as well as live music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. then finally fireworks to end the event.” Admission was $10, and $15 for a camping permit.
